Aerie
Positivity and realness. Those are two words that mean a lot to American Eagle’s sub-brand, Aerie. Aerie sets out to instill confidence in young girls not only by providing them with inclusive clothing options as seen on REAL un-retouched models, but by also providing them with advice & stories that empower them. This REALtalk could be about anything from vision and goals, to body confidence, to mental health.

This project acknowledges Aerie’s values of prioritizing the mental health of young girls. Although it’s a simple pleasure, being within nature can work wonders with putting a mind at ease. Since nature is so good to us, it seems only right that we return the favor. Aerie’s recent steps to reducing their water and energy usage can be seen in their more sustainable clothing line known as REAL GOOD. This project takes a look into Aerie’s latest Summer Arrivals with a positive, eco-friendly perspective.
Catalog
This catalog exemplifies that positive, nature-loving message while also showcasing the newest arrivals to Aerie's summer collection! Bright, feminine color schemes, positive photographs, and fun, hand-drawn illustrations all work toward getting Aerie's target demographic of girls around 14-24 years old excited about being outside during the summertime, while simultaneously marketing their both cute and comfortable swimsuits and cover-ups.

Social Advertisements
The Instagram ads function yet again as another method of appealing to Aerie’s target audience. These ads continue the utilization of hand-drawn illustrations while maintaining a consistent theme in type and color usage.
